Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku: GFA boss visits, comforts Pooley's family

Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has visited the home of the late Asante Kotoko super supporter Francis Nana Yaw ‘Pooley’ Frimpong in Kumasi, meeting Pooley’s wife and family.
The visit took place on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
Mr Simeon-Okraku extended his condolences, offering words of comfort and encouragement to the grieving family over the stabbing to death of their beloved member.
The GFA boss was joined and supported by Ashanti Regional Football Association Executives led by Chairman Osei Tutu Agyemang; GFA Executive Council member, Frederick Acheampong; GFA Executive Council member and Kotoko IMC top official, James Kwasi Appiah, and the supporters' leadership of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Earlier, Mr Simeon-Okraku visited the Asante Kotoko Headquarters, Kumasi, where he had a closed-door meeting with the Interim Management Committee and leadership of the club's supporters.
