Ghana Black Queens has began its training tour in Casablanca, Morocco, preparing for the FIFA February window.

The national senior female team with 19 players reported to camp on Monday, February 17, 2025.

Arriving on Sunday, the technical team, home-based players, and management officials flew on Air Maroc, settling into the Ibis Hotel.

There are players from overseas who in the camp. Shoring up the number 22, Jennifer Cudjoe, Azumah Bugre, and Grace Asantewaa are expected to arrive on Monday from the USA, Turkey, and Mexico, respectively.

Furthermore, the team awaits Mary Amponsah, the current top scorer in the Malta Guinness Women's Premier League. She received a late call-up to substitute Alice Kusi.

The 10-day training tour is organised by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and aimed at keeping the Black Queens in shape, allowing Head Coach Kim Lars Björkegren to gauge and build a strong team in light of the Women's African Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

In line with the above, on February 21, the Black Queens will take on Morocco's Atlas Lionesses at the Père Jègo Stadium. Three days later, the team goes up against club side AS FAR Club.
