Just ten minutes later, Musibau struck again, doubling the advantage.

After receiving a precise square pass from Jerry Afriyie in the final third, Musibau calmly slotted the ball home to complete his brace and extend Ghana’s lead.

Despite Niger’s efforts to respond, the Black Satellites held firm, defending well to keep a clean sheet and secure a crucial victory for coach Ofei's side.

The result leaves Ghana with four points from two games, setting them up for a decisive final group match against Togo on Wednesday, October 23.

This tournament doubles as a qualifier for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place next year.
