NPP outlines activities to mark Bawunia's birthday on monday
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced a series of nationwide activities to celebrate the birthday of its Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on Monday, October 7, 2024.
The celebration will involve religious events and a large-scale campaign to highlight the party’s achievements and the 2024 manifesto.
The celebration kicks off on Friday, October 4, 2024, with nationwide prayers in mosques.
Regional and constituency executives, along with parliamentary Candidates, are tasked with supervising the event to ensure it runs smoothly.
On Saturday, October 5, 2024, members of the NPP will visit Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) churches and other churches that hold services on Saturdays.
This will be followed by a National Sunday Service on October 6, 2024, where party members at all levels are encouraged to attend church services to seek divine blessings for Dr. Bawumia.
The event will be organized by regional and constituency executives, Parliamentary Candidates, and various volunteer groups to ensure full participation.
The main event on Monday, October 7, 2024, will be a nationwide campaign and canvassing exercise to commemorate Dr. Bawumia’s birthday.
Party members are requested to engage the public through various activities, including roadside campaigns, visits to markets, lorry and taxi station engagements, campus campaigns, shopping mall outreach, and campaigns targeting ghettos.
Party members will also use placards and wear NPP paraphernalia to boost visibility.
The NPP’s National Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), urged all regional and constituency executives and Parliamentary Candidates to coordinate efforts at every level, working closely with volunteers and identifiable groups in their regions to ensure the success of the activities.
