MP for Okaikwei Central donates GH₵50,000 and cement to Adum fire victims in Kumasi

The Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central in the Greater Accra Region, Patrick Yaw Bomah, has made a generous donation of GH₵50,000 and 200 bags of cement to traders who were affected by the devastating fire outbreak at Adum PZ in Kumasi.
Mr Bomah made the donation during a visit to the fire-ravaged area on Monday, where he was led to the scene by the Member of Parliament for Subin Constituency, Kofi Obiri Yeboah.
The visit was also supported by NPP regional executives and constituency chairmen.
This donation adds to the efforts of political leaders and philanthropists who have previously contributed to assisting over 10,000 traders whose businesses were destroyed in the fire.
During his visit, Mr Bomah expressed deep sorrow over the extent of the damage and assured the affected traders that he would donate an additional GH₵50,000 once the redevelopment of the market begins.
He also spoke to the traders, offering words of encouragement and solidarity, saying, "A situation like this is when love is demonstrated the most."
The MP emphasized the importance of unity among the traders during this challenging time.
Mr Bomah also urged those entrusted with handling donations to act with integrity and ensure the aid reaches those in need.
