Ghana on the right path towards economic prosperity under NPP – Stephen Ntim
The National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Ayesu Ntim, has lauded the leadership of the ruling government for steering Ghana from the brink of economic despair to a path of recovery and growth.
Speaking at the NPP’s manifesto launch on Saturday, 18 August 2024, Mr. Ntim highlighted the government's efforts in overcoming global challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, and implementing measures that have stabilized the nation’s economy.
“Under the visionary leadership of the president, Ghana has risen from the brink of despair. We are on the right path, from where I sit, towards economic prosperity and have embarked on far-reaching institutional reforms for good and accountable governance within a stable democratic society,” Mr. Ntim stated.
Acknowledging that the country is still navigating its way out of economic challenges, Mr. Ntim emphasised the significant strides made by the current administration.
He pointed to key achievements, including the successful implementation of the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy, the establishment of STEM and TVET schools, the rollout of mobile money interoperability, and the launch of Agenda 111—a comprehensive health infrastructure project.
In light of these accomplishments, Mr. Ntim appealed to the electorate to support the NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the upcoming 2024 elections.
He urged Ghanaians to entrust the party with another term to continue the work of driving the nation towards economic prosperity and institutional reform.
