Dec 7 polls: Roman Fada nominated to lead GFP, replacing Akua Donkor
The Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) has settled on Philip Kwabena Agyemang, alias Roman Fada, as their new flagbearer.
The decision comes after the original GFP flagbearer, Akua Donkor – the party's founder – passed away.
Roman Fada, a broadcaster, was Akua Donkor's vice presidential candidate.
The GFP formally filed Roman Fada’s presidential nomination at the Electoral Commission (EC) on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
The EC will respond to this move by the GFP latest by Thursday, according to sources cited by Graphic Online.
Meanwhile, Roman Fada has nominated one Vida Eshun as the GFP's vice presidential candidate for the upcoming December 7 general elections.
