Ablakwa: ORAL team will work pro bono putting 'Ghana first'
News
According to Samuel O. Ablakwa, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu, the team put together to lead Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) will work pro bono, receiving no form of financial rewards in the discharge of their much-anticipated work.
The lawmaker, writing on his Facebook timeline, said the team came to this agreement when it had its first meeting, Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
Ablakwa said the ORAL team was inspired to take this decision because of its awareness of its mandate being a sacred and patriotic service.
"The ORAL Team held its first meeting at 2pm today and has resolved to work gratis," the MP wrote.
"We shall not be receiving salaries, allowances, per-diems or fuel coupons. None of our activities will come at a cost to the taxpayer.
"We continue to count on your support, let’s do this for God and Country.
"Ghana First [Ghana flag and prayer hand emoji]."
