Jordan Ayew strikes late as Leicester draw at winless Ipswich
Jordan Ayew scored deep into stoppage time as Leicester City denied Ipswich Town a first Premier League win of the season.
Ayew played a one-two with Jamie Vardy and shot past Arijanet Muric to rescue a point for the visitors.
Leif Davis’ superb first-time volley had looked like giving Ipswich all three points.
But the home side, who had Kalvin Phillips sent off for a second bookable offence after a late challenge on Ricardo Pereira with 12 minutes remaining, failed to see out the win and Ipswich remain in the bottom three.
They have now dropped 12 points from winning positions, the most of any team in the league.
The Tractor Boys have registered five draws and five losses in their opening 10 games, the club’s longest winless run at the start of a top-flight campaign.
