Danny List, a Ghanaian pro golfer, has expressed readiness to maintain his ranking ahead of the forthcoming DP World Tour season.

The 26-year-old golfer is among the top golfers in the world and is keen on securing his card which had been one of his greatest achievements since beginning his career at a young age.

Danny List while speaking at a presser in Accra said, “As far as I make a successful DP World Tour season, I will be maintaining my card for next year and staying on the tour with some good results.”

He revealed that keeping his badge as part of the world’s top-ranked golfers would be a milestone worth celebrating.

The youngster, who is regarded by many as West Africa’s number one recalled some challenging moments in his journey where he had to fight back on top after picking up an injury.

He said despite these challenges, he still aims to be a world champion, winning major championships as well as growing the sport in Africa.

“Golf requires a lot of experience, and I am very pleased with where I am at this point and I feel like I have a long way to go”, he said.

He urged the government to invest in golf which was gradually being accepted by many Ghanaians.

List, through his foundation, looks to empower the youth and golf enthusiasts in Ghana and West Africa by providing a world-class avenue to learn, practice and excel.

Unlike his predecessors, List’s story is one of global roots, perseverance, and a relentless passion for the game.

In Ghana, his success is celebrated by his community and the over 40 junior golfers supported by his foundation.

Understanding the challenges of golf accessibility, the professional golfer is committed to providing equipment, resources, and inspiration for the next generation.
