GFA charges Nsoatreman FC, bans Nana Koronamansah Park indefinitely

Aiming to control recurrence and showing commitment to the prioritisation of the safety of players, officials, and spectators, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has responded to the violence that took place at the Nana Koronamansah Park, Nsoatre, Bono Region, during the match between Nsoatreman FC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Sunday, February 2, 2025.

The association has charged Nsoatreman FC and banned the Nana Koronamansah Park indefinitely.

Additionally, an investigation team led by Chair of the GFA’s Security Committee, DCOP Lydia Donkor, has arrived in Sunyani to looking into the incident.

They met with the Bono Regional Police leadership and visited the site where the violence which led to the killing of a Kotoko supporter took place.
