The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Simeon-Okraku, has reaffirmed the association’s commitment to collaborate with the government to ensure the continuous development of football in the country.

During a working visit to familiarise himself with the new Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, Simeon-Okraku discussed various issues, including Ghana's preparation for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar later this month.

The GFA boss was accompanied by the Head Coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo; Assistant Coach, Desmond Ofei, and GFA Director of Football and Black Stars Technical Advisor, Winfried Schafer.

While introducing the members of the revamped Black Stars technical team to the minister, Simeon-Okraku called for support and collaboration to achieve success.

Ghana's Black Stars are scheduled to take on Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on March 17 before travelling to Morocco to battle Madagascar in the qualifying race for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, set to take place in the USA, Canada and Mexico next year.
