Elective Congress for the Ghana Olympic Committee scheduled for Sat. Apr. 26
On Saturday, April 26, 2025, the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) has announced its elective congress to select new executives will be held.
Bawa Fuseini, President of Ghana Athletics, suggested the date during an extraordinary meeting held on Saturday, January 25, at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Pitch, Accra.
Kamal Sulley, Vice President of the Ghana Rowing and Canoeing Federation, seconded him.
During the meeting, the congress agreed on a virtual extraordinary meeting before the April 26 elective congress to address outstanding issues like membership applications, and a Ghana Rugby Association and Ghana Table Tennis Association dispute, among other things.
Upon election, the new GOC executives will serve a four-year term.
Currently, the GOC is led by President Ben Nunoo Mensah.
