We'll start the resetting agenda today – Ato Forson to Mahama

Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson has assured Ghanaians that the Mahama-led administration will waste no time in addressing the country’s challenges, beginning an ambitious reset agenda immediately.
He made this declaration during the swearing-in ceremony for newly appointed ministers at the Jubilee House on Wednesday, January 22.
In his address, Dr Forson acknowledged the significant hurdles facing various sectors of the economy, including energy, education, agriculture, roads, and justice.
“Mr President, we are also aware of the state of the Ghanaian economy, the state of the energy sector, the state of our justice system, the state of our roads sector, the state of the agricultural sector, and the state of the education sector. While we start working today, we will begin the reset agenda of the country,” he stated.
The swearing-in ceremony, led by President John Dramani Mahama, officially inaugurated six ministerial nominees into office.
Those sworn in include Dr Dominic Ayine as Attorney General, John Jinapor as Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Haruna Iddrisu as Minister for Education, Eric Opoku as Minister for Food and Agriculture, and Governs Kwame Agbodza as Minister for Roads and Highways.
President Mahama tasked the ministers with prioritising efficiency and innovation in their respective portfolios, reminding them of the high expectations of the Ghanaian populace.
Dr Forson’s remarks resonated with this directive, as he assured the nation of the administration’s resolve to usher in sustainable reforms and growth.
