Tema West: Akufo-Addo nominates Felicia Attipoe as MCE

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has put forward the nomination of Felicia Edem Attipoe as the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Tema West Municipal Assembly.
The announcement, made through a statement signed by the Minister-Designate for Local Government, Decentralisation, and Rural Development, Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, comes in line with Article 243 (1) of the 1992 constitution.
“The nomination of Felicia Edem Attipoe for the position of Municipal Chief Executive of the Tema West Municipal Assembly is in accordance with Article 243 (1) of the 1992 constitution,” the statement noted.
However, Ms Attipoe's appointment is subject to approval by the assembly, pending which she will assume the role and responsibilities of leading the municipal administration.
