Napo roasts NDC Chairman over lack of development in Seikwa
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has criticized Johnson Asiedu Nketia, also known as "General Mosquito," the National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), over the lack of development in Seikwa, his hometown.
Speaking to a large crowd in Seikwa during his campaign tour of the Bono Region, Dr. Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as "Napo," accused Asiedu Nketiah of failing to contribute to the growth of Seikwa despite benefiting from the community over the years.
Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Napo expressed disappointment over the absence of essential infrastructure, such as roads, hospitals, and schools, in Seikwa, a prominent town in the Tain Constituency.
He remarked that Seikwa deserves far better and criticized Asiedu Nketiah for allegedly using his position to enrich himself without improving the living standards of his hometown.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh urged residents to reject the NDC in the upcoming December 7 presidential and parliamentary elections, calling on the people of Seikwa to turn down any campaign promises made by Asiedu Nketiah and the NDC.
He encouraged the community to vote instead for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s Presidential Candidate, and the NPP Parliamentary Candidate, emphasizing that an NPP government is committed to advancing development and prosperity for the area.
He further noted the warm reception he received in Seikwa as a reflection of Tain’s unwavering support for the NPP, expressing confidence that the community’s commitment to the party would drive a decisive victory for Dr. Bawumia.
Highlighting the NPP's focus on progress, Napo underscored that only the NPP has the vision and capability to lead the country toward sustainable development and prosperity.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh concluded by appealing to Seikwa residents to rally behind Dr. Bawumia and the NPP to foster meaningful growth in their community and across the nation.
