Mahama is back again with blame game - Minority insists

The Minority has accused President John Dramani Mahama of engaging in yet another round of blame game as he leads the National Economic Dialogue.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, March 3, former Minister for Finance, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, criticised the President’s approach, arguing that he was shifting responsibility rather than presenting concrete solutions to Ghana’s economic challenges.
Dr Amin Adam dismissed the dialogue as a repetitive exercise lacking fresh ideas, suggesting that President Mahama’s leadership style had not changed.
“Ladies and gentlemen, we are back there, with another round of blame game and another National Economic Dialogue, and with the same ‘da da noaa’ His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, who promises to create jobs and begins by firing those who have jobs,” he stated.
According to the former Finance Minister, the government should focus on practical solutions rather than political rhetoric.
He argued that while the President claims to have a plan to revitalise the economy, his actions suggest otherwise.
“You cannot build a thriving economy by dismissing hardworking individuals and blaming others for your own shortcomings,” he asserted.
Dr Amin Adam called on Ghanaians to critically assess the policies being proposed at the dialogue and demand accountability from the administration.
He warned that without decisive action and responsible governance, Ghana’s economic difficulties would persist, regardless of the discussions held at the forum.
