The management of Ho 92.5 FM in the Volta Region paid tribute to Mama Agblatsu III on February 28, 2025

The management of Ho 92.5 FM in the Volta Region paid tribute to Mama Agblatsu III, the former Ho Municipal Education Director and former Principal of Peki College of Education on Friday 28 February 2025. 

Togbe Ahorgo I, the General Manager of Ho FM, expressed gratitude for Mama Agblatsu III's life-long commitment to ensuring the Ewe language was given its due appreciation and spoken well. He underlined her diligence in fostering peace, her humility and love, and above all being a source of inspiration to all who came close to her.

He emphasised Mama Agblatsu III fought a good fight, being a laudable example to the youth and other traditional leaders especially in the educational sector.

“You have truly fought a good fight, and now is the time for the faithful soldier to lay down her arm and take a rest,” he said.

Togbe Ahorgo I highlighted the significant impact of Mama Agblatsu III's leadership and how she used her position as a traditional leader to educate the masses on radio, ensuring every issue of concern was given the needed attention and clarity.

Dr Richard Akplotsyi, a Senior Lecturer at the Ho Technical University, and a member of the Ho FM management board, underscored the legacy of Mama Agblatsu III, recognising her as a champion of Ghana's culture.

Dr Akplotsyi acknowledged Mama Agblatsu III was a disciplinarian who ensured the right discipline was administered to transform individuals, insisting on the right things to be done.

He concluded his tribute with a solemn farewell, stating, “Rest in peace, Mama Agblatsu III. You will forever remain in our hearts.

Other members of the delegation included Mr Polymath Agbanyo, Mr Martin Kwame Sedem, Ms Gloria Duagble, and Mr Solomon Mensah-Ahiable.

They all wished Mama Agblatsu III farewell, praying for her rest in the bosom of her God and Maker.
