Haruna Iddrisu, Abla Gomashie, Opare- Addo, others join Mahama's Cabinet
President John Dramani Mahama has nominated six Members of Parliament to serve in key ministerial positions as part of his new administration.
The nominees include experienced legislators and party stalwarts, with their appointments aimed at strengthening the government’s delivery across various sectors.
The list of nominees is as follows:
Haruna Iddrisu (MP) – Minister for Education Kwame Governs Agbodza (MP) – Minister for Roads and Highways Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare (MP) – Minister for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry Eric Opoku (MP) – Minister for Food and Agriculture Agnes Naa Momo Lartey (MP) – Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection Abla Dzifa Gomashie (MP) – Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts
The nominations, once approved by Parliament, will see these ministers take charge of key sectors in the Mahama-led government, with expectations of driving policies that will enhance national development.
