The Director of Elections and IT for the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, has expressed confidence that the party will swiftly collate election results on December 7.

Speaking to supporters at Otoase in the Ayensuano Constituency of the Eastern Region, Dr. Boamah announced that the NDC aims to complete the collation of 75% of the total votes nationwide by 11 p.m. on election night.

Dr. Boamah assured the audience of the NDC’s preparedness to closely monitor the voting process and ensure transparency.

He urged voters to place their trust in the party’s commitment to safeguarding the integrity of the ballots.

“Go to the polls peacefully to protect your votes.

Be courageous and collaborate with security agencies,” he advised, adding that the NDC has insisted on name tags for all security personnel deployed for the election.

He emphasized that the Election Directorate has the full backing of the NDC's Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama, and National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, in ensuring the collation target is met.

“The NDC will have 75% of the results collated by 11 p.m.,” he reiterated.
