John Mahama punches Bawumia over unfulfilled 2020 manifesto promises
The Flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has criticized Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia for failing to fulfil key promises from the 2020 manifesto, including the construction of a harbour and airport in the Central Region.
Mr Mahama argues that these unfulfilled commitments reveal a lack of honesty, urging Ghanaians to reject Bawumia and the ruling party on grounds of trustworthiness.
Addressing supporters, Mr Mahama highlighted the importance of truthfulness and accountability in leadership, qualities he believes distinguish the NDC.
Using the unbuilt harbour and airport in Cape Coast as an example, he contended that the NPP’s failure to deliver reflects poorly on Bawumia’s reliability as a leader.
Mr Mahama assured that an NDC government would fulfil all its promises, including infrastructure projects and job creation initiatives for the youth, underscoring the party's commitment to genuine service for Ghanaians.
