#2024Polls: EC invites parties to present collation agents for Tema Central results
The Electoral Commission (EC) has invited political parties to present two collation agents each to attend the collation of parliamentary results for the Tema Central Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.
The collation is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. at the EC’s Greater Accra Regional Office near Ridge Hospital in Accra.
In a message communicated to the parties, the EC requested the names of the two agents to be submitted in advance through the same communication channel used for the invitation.
The collation process is a critical step in finalizing the parliamentary election results for Tema Central.
This exercise will bring together representatives of the political parties, EC officials, and other stakeholders to ensure transparency and accuracy in tallying the votes.
This Constituency was earlier declared in favour of the NDC's candidate Ebi Bright and the Returning Officer issued a statement claiming he declared the results under duress.
