We pray there will be no negative narratives under your gov’t – Duncan-Williams to Mahama
The Founder and General Overseer of the Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, has expressed his optimism for a transformative tenure under President-elect, John Dramani Mahama.
During a courtesy visit to the president-elect, accompanied by members of the Apostolic Fathers, Archbishop Duncan-Williams conveyed his belief that Mr. Mahama’s leadership would usher in a new era of hope and progress for Ghana, addressing challenges and transforming the negative narratives associated with past administrations.
“I believe that by God’s grace, who preserved you, kept you alive, and you didn’t die but lived and are still here, He will guide you, protect you, and give you what it takes to move this nation according to His mandate to where He wants to take this nation,” stated Archbishop Duncan-Williams.
He continued that: “We want to pray and believe that during your time in office, the negative narratives that have plagued governments of this country will change, and we will see a new and beautiful Ghana by the grace of God.”
The Archbishop further reflected on prophetic insights he had shared with Mr. Mahama in the past, asserting his belief that the former president’s return to power was divinely ordained.
“I remember that when we spoke in 2016, I mentioned to you what I felt prophetically – that you would have to leave, and at the right time, you would come again. In 2020, we met again with Hon Elvis in my office, and I said to you, Mr President, you are not coming now; you will come after 2020,” he recalled.
Archbishop Duncan-Williams expressed his unwavering confidence in Mr. Mahama’s return, adding: “When 2020 ended, I was very confident, irrespective of whatever anybody said, that it was your time to come back to fulfil the mandate and finish your unfinished business.”
