Tiwa Savage's home invaded; alleged kidnappers arrested

Star singer Tiwa Savage
Tiwa Savage has indicated that she is fine and safe after a security breach at home.
This follows reports that some men, aided by the Nigerian star singer's new driver, had attempted to kidnap her.
On her verified Instagram (IG) handle, a statement was released Friday, dated April 14, 2023, confirming that her residence had been broken into.
The statement, authored by the 'Koroba' hitmaker's management, reads: “Following recent reports online, we can confirm that on Thursday 13th April 2023 there was a major security breach at the residence of musician Tiwa Savage.
“A number of suspects were caught and are currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi.
"Ms Savage and her family are safe and well.”
Captioning the statement, the Nigerian star said: "Thanks for all the messages [heart emoji]. All is well [prayer/thank you emojis]."
