Wanderlust Ghana announces 3-continent adventure on wheels

Wanderlust Ghana has announced it will be visiting three cities on three continents "overland" soon.
The exact starting date was not communicated, but the August 30 Facebook post hinted at the adventure taking place in October 2024.
"With a little over one month left to go, let us hear from you. Tell us which route you’d want us to use. What would you like to see on those routes?" Wanderlust Ghana requested of its fans.
The photo attached to the above caption indicated the team would embark on a daring 30,000 kilometre drive from Accra, Ghana, to Paris, France, to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and then finish off in Cape Town, South Africa.
On the D-Day when the journey commences and Wanderlust Ghana drives out of Ghana, "the first country we will enter is our western neighbour Côte d'Ivoire, also known as the Ivory Coast".
"The Republic of Liberia is the next country we enter after Côte d’Ivoire on the West African coast. From Liberia, we will enter Sierra Leone. From Sierra Leone, we enter Guinea," Wanderlust wrote in several posts counting down to action time.
At publication time, September 3, "it’s D-DAY minus 27," according to Wanderlust Ghana.
From Oyarifa, Accra, Ghana, on July 23, 2023, a group of 12 individuals (11 men and one woman) drove to London, United Kingdom. The 10,000-kilometre attracted a huge buzz from local and international media as Wanderlust Ghana navigated 16 countries in just 16 days by land. Though some members dropped off for various private and professionals reasons along the way, starting with Shecanic in Morocco, Wanderlust arrived in London on August 6, 2023.
The Ghana-registered vehicles used for the historic Accra-London journey included two Toyota Land Cruisers, a Ford F-150 Raptor, a Lexus RX350, and a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon (G63).
According to Wanderlust Ghana, they used about 250 liters of fuel, covering an average of 800 to 900 kilometers daily.
