PMMC calls on Asantehene at Manhyia palace
The Managing Director together with the Board and some senior staff of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC) on Friday, 13th October, 2023 called on the Asantehene Otumfo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
In a brief interaction, the Asantehene praised PMMC for their sterling performance so far with regards to their achievements in the gold Market. Whiles stressing the need for the company to work closely with stakeholders to halt gold smuggling in the country.
Otumfo Osei Tutu II also encouraged the Board and Management of the PMMC to embrace the call for value addition to Ghana's Minerals at all levels.
He re-echoed the need for the country to have a State Gold mine which will be the direct source of gold to the company and for the benefit of the Ghanaian people.
The Delegation was at the Manhyia Palace to update the Asantehene on the company's operations in the country, specifically on their new office spaces and Jewellery shop in the Ashanti Region.
