Mahama’s first budget will amaze Ghanaians: NPA CEO

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Godwin Edudzi Tameklo, has expressed confidence that President John Dramani Mahama’s first budget will exceed public expectations and significantly impact the nation’s economic direction.
Speaking on TV3 on Monday, March 10, 2025, Mr. Tameklo stated that the budget, which is set to be presented to Parliament soon, will be a game-changer and will “blow the minds of Ghanaians” with its bold policies and initiatives.
According to him, the budget will focus on economic revitalization, job creation, and key social interventions aimed at improving the livelihoods of Ghanaians.
He emphasized that President Mahama’s administration is committed to restoring economic stability and implementing progressive policies that will address pressing national concerns.
“This budget will not just be figures and projections; it will present real solutions that will transform the economy and bring relief to Ghanaians,” Mr. Tameklo stated.
He urged the public to trust the leadership of President Mahama, assuring that his government has laid out a comprehensive plan to tackle economic challenges and foster national development.
The highly anticipated budget is expected to outline significant fiscal measures, social welfare programmes, and economic recovery strategies, marking a new chapter in Ghana’s governance under Mahama’s leadership, he concluded.
