Champions League: Juventus sack Sarri over failure

Italian side Juventus have sacked its manager, Maurizio Sarri following their Champions League exit at the hands of France's Lyon.
Even though Juventus beat Lyon by 2-1 on Friday 7 August 2020, both teams had 2 aggregate points on the league table at the Round of 16 stage of the UEFA Champions league.
Juventus failed to progress to the quarter finals.
The failure occasioned a the dismissal of the the 61-year-old former Chelsea and Napoli boss.
