Bawumia joins Asamoah Gyan to launch All-Regional Games 2024
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia joined Ghana legend Asamoah 'Baby Jet' Gyan to launch the All-Regional Games 2024 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Saturday evening, 6 July 2024.
Dr Bawumia remarked that this championship, organised by Asamoah Gyan in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and spanning several sporting disciplines, marks a significant milestone in the collective effort to revive grassroots sports across all 16 regions of the nation.
He said sports have always been a unifying force, transcending barriers and bringing people together.
“Together, we can harness the power of sports to build a stronger, more united Ghana. Let us support the All-Regional Games and all similar initiatives that aim to uplift our youth and promote national pride,” he added.
