Arsenal are reportedly setting their sights on West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus, with Spanish sources suggesting the North London club is prepared to pay £83 million (€100 million) to bring the Ghanaian international to the Emirates Stadium.

According to Fichajes, Kudus is enthusiastic about the potential move, fueled by his desire to participate in European competitions.

Kudus was notably seen attending Arsenal’s UEFA Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain, which they won 2-0 in October, though it’s unclear if he was there on the club’s invitation.

Kudus, who currently plays under a contract with West Ham until 2028, recently scored against Arsenal in the Hammers’ 3-1 Carabao Cup victory in November 2023.

Despite his long-term deal and a reported release clause of £85 million, his ambition to compete in Europe could propel him toward a switch to Arsenal.

Known for his versatility, Kudus can operate both as a central forward and on the wing, making him an attractive option for Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, as the team looks to reinforce its attacking options for next season.

The 24-year-old joined West Ham from Ajax in 2023 for £38 million plus add-ons, finishing an impressive debut season with 14 goals in all competitions.

So far this season, he has scored twice in eight appearances, underscoring his value as a rising star in the Premier League.
