Baidoo lost his life while discharging duties as a polling agent for Madam Kukua Bissue, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Ahanta West constituency.
On Saturday, December 7, 2024, Ghana went to the polls.
Saturday night, Baidoo and other polling agents were transporting ballot boxes and pink sheets to the constituency’s collation center when he was involved a motorbike accident.
The news was confirmed to Connect FM in Takoradi by his brother Emmanuel Quarm.
“Kwabena was overjoyed because his candidate won at his polling station,” Quarm said. “On his way to the collation center, he was involved in an accident. His motorbike crashed, and he hit his head on the road. He was rushed to the Axim Government Hospital but sadly passed away early Sunday morning.”
