Omane Boamah hails Mahama-Opoku-Agyemang administration as restoration of presidential dignity
Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Director of Elections and Information Technology (IT) for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has lauded the incoming administration of President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, describing it as a revival of integrity and honour for the presidency.
Speaking ahead of the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Omane Boamah declared, “The Mahama-Opoku-Agyemang presidency represents a restoration of dignity to the highest office of the land.
It is under their leadership that the 24-hour economy will become a reality.”
The 24-Hour Economy Policy, a key pillar of the new administration’s agenda, aims to transform Ghana’s economic framework into a dynamic system operating around the clock.
According to Dr. Omane Boamah, this initiative will be central to the government’s strategy for revitalizing Ghana’s economy, creating jobs, and enhancing service delivery.
President Mahama has already assembled a robust team to drive this vision.
Among the notable appointments are Julius Debrah, who will serve as Chief of Staff, and Augustus “Goosie” Tanoh, a seasoned economist and statesman, who will spearhead the design and implementation of the 24-Hour Economy Policy.
In an interview during the inauguration, Dr. Omane Boamah elaborated on the policy’s transformative potential, stating, “This initiative will not only increase productivity but also expand employment opportunities and improve access to essential services across all sectors.
It marks a turning point for Ghana’s economic development.”
