Napo ‘astute and brilliant’ – Bawumia as he thanks NPP NEC for endorsing his running Mate

Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has expressed deep gratitude to the National Executive Council (NEC) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for officially endorsing Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as his running mate for the 2024 general elections.
In a post on Facebook, on Thursday, 4 July 2024, Dr. Bawumia praised the NEC for their decision.
“Today, I had the honour and privilege to present my choice of running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, to the National Council of the New Patriotic Party for their consideration in line with NPP constitution,” the NPP flagbearer wrote.
He described his running mate as “astute and brilliant,” adding: “To God be the glory.”
Dr. Bawumia went on to express his sincere appreciation for the NEC’s unanimous approval.
