NDC race: Step aside for Mahama – Delegates to other competitors
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) delegates and party supporters in the Central Region have advised all the NDC aspiring presidential candidates who are in the race to contest former President John Dramani Mahama to step aside and throw their support for the former president.
The delegates in an interview with Class 91.3 FM's Nana Tawiah as part of John Dramani Mahama's tour of the Central Region said they are happy businessman Mr Ernest Kobeah who picked nomination forms has stepped down and has thrown his support behind John Dramani Mahama.
The delegates believe that the other two candidates namely Dr Kwabena Duffour, the former Finance Minister, and Kojo Bonsu also former Kumasi Major are wasting their time and resources on the election.
According to them, the only candidate they know and are supporting is John Dramani Mahama and nobody else.
"Our former president has done some before, he is the only candidate we know.
“With his experience, NDC is sure of victory so the other aspirants should step down and throw their support for him” they added.
John Dramani Mahama in addressing the supporters of the party revealed that God has listened to his prayers by making him number one on the ballot paper.
According to him, being the first person in everything is victory and he believes that he is going to win massively.
He thanked the businessman Ernest Kobeah who has stepped down and thrown his support for him for the great move
