The Managing Director of the Ghana Publishing Company Limited, Mr David Asante, has been involved in car crash on the Walewale-Nalerigu road.

Mr Asante was on his way to Nalerigu from Bolgatanga when the accident occurred on Saturday, 10 October 2020.

He escaped death by the whiskers in the crash.

Mr Asante, who is also the convenor of the Let My Vote Count Alliance, was taken to the hospital for treatment.

His crash comes a few days after another member of the governing New Patriotic Party, Mr Sammi Awuku, got involved in a similar crash on the Ejisu-Konongo stretch in the Ashanti Region.

The National Organiser of the NPP was returning from Koforidua on Thursday when the accident occurred.

Also, the Deputy Bono East Regional Youth Organiser of the biggest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Kojo Nsiah died in a car crash on the Kintampo-Techiman Highway.
