I'm offering bold solutions to deal with the challenges we face - Bawumia to Ghanaians
The New Patriotic Party's (NPP) flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has assured Ghanaians that he is offering bold and innovative solutions to tackle the pressing challenges the nation is currently facing.
Speaking at the NPP's manifesto launch at Takoradi in the Western Region on Sunday, he emphasised that his focus is on addressing issues such as economic instability, unemployment, and infrastructure deficits, which continue to affect the daily lives of many citizens.
Dr. Bawumia highlighted several key initiatives that his administration has already implemented, such as digitising public services and introducing pro-poor policies like the Free Senior High School program.
He explained that these bold measures are designed to create long-term sustainable growth while easing the burden on ordinary Ghanaians.
The Vice President also hinted at new policies aimed at boosting job creation and expanding access to affordable healthcare.
The NPP flagbearer acknowledged the current economic challenges but assured Ghanaians that the government is working tirelessly to stabilise the economy.
He called for patience and urged citizens to have faith in the NPP’s leadership, stating that the current administration is committed to finding effective solutions to the nation's problems.
Dr. Bawumia also emphasized that the government’s interventions are designed to improve the lives of all Ghanaians, regardless of social or economic status.
"Ghana needs bold solutions to deal with the challenges we face and that is what I am offering in asking for the mandate of Ghanaians. This Manifesto lays out our comprehensive plan to take Ghana to the next level of growth and prosperity, under a selfless leader with bold solutions for jobs and business."
"Ladies and Gentlemen, my vision is to create a tent big enough to accommodate every Ghanaian, to tap into the resourcefulness and talents of our people, irrespective of our different ethnic, political and religious backgrounds, to channel our energies into building the kind of country that assures a food self-sufficient, safe, prosperous, and dignified future for all Ghanaians, to create sustainable jobs with meaningful pay for all, and for Ghana to participate fully in the fourth industrial revolution using systems and data."
