NDC running mate storms Haruna Iddrissu's campaign launch in Tamale
The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, arrived in Tamale on Sunday to participate in the campaign launch for Mr Haruna Iddrisu, the incumbent Member of Parliament for the Tamale South Constituency in the Northern Region.
Tamale South, the largest Constituency in the Northern Region, is known for its significant voting power, with Mr . Iddrisu consistently receiving the highest number of votes in the region.
Widely regarded as one of the most prominent and respected Members of Parliament, Mr. Iddrisu has earned admiration across the political spectrum.
During the campaign launch, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang expressed gratitude to the people of Tamale for their unwavering support and commitment to the NDC.
She will also renew the NDC’s commitment to keep developing the Northern Region as well as highlight policies in the 2024 NDC manifesto aimed at creating jobs, empowering women financially, providing opportunities for the youth, and supporting Zongos
