Health Minister receives family of late Dr. Moses Adibo

The Minister for Health, Mr. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has received members of the family and close associates of the late Dr. Moses Adibo at the Ministry of Health.
The delegation called on the Minister to officially announce the passing of Dr. Adibo and to brief him on funeral arrangements.
Dr. Moses Adibo, a revered figure in Ghana’s health sector, passed away on March 24, 2025.
He is scheduled to be laid to rest in July this year.
Dr. Adibo served as Deputy Minister for Health during the administration of the late President Jerry John Rawlings.
He was also the Director of Medical Services and later assumed the role of Director of Policy Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation — positions through which he made substantial contributions to Ghana’s health system.
Describing the late Dr. Adibo as a "global icon in the area of health development policies and systems,"Mr. Mintah Akandoh expressed his sorrow over the loss.
"I heard he was a good man, so I planned on meeting him.
Unfortunately, he has left us before that could happen.
May his soul rest in peace," the Minister said.
