Dr. Bawumia to lead nationwide NPP “Thank You Tour”

The 2024 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will, from Saturday, April 26, 2025, embark on a nationwide “Thank You Tour” to express appreciation to Ghanaians for their overwhelming support during the 2024 general elections.
The tour, which has received the full backing of the NPP’s National Council, is being organised in collaboration with the Party’s leadership and Campaign Team. It is designed to extend heartfelt gratitude to NPP members, supporters, and the general public for their contributions before, during, and after the elections.
Held under the theme “In All Things, Give Thanks to God” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), the initiative reflects the NPP’s commitment to its faith-based values and recognition of divine providence throughout the electoral journey.
More than just an expression of thanks, the tour seeks to strengthen the bond between the Party's leadership and its grassroots supporters, while promoting unity and renewed energy as the NPP charts its course for the future.
The nationwide tour will span all sixteen regions of Ghana, beginning in the Western Region on April 26 and concluding in the Central Region on June 4, 2025. In each region, regional and constituency-level gatherings will be held, providing a platform for direct engagement with party faithful.
The Ashanti Region, a key political stronghold, will host an extended three-day programme from April 29 to May 1, recognising its strategic importance to the party.
The tour will culminate in interfaith national thanksgiving services that will include both Christian and Islamic ceremonies, symbolising national unity and spiritual reflection.
The NPP leadership is encouraging all members, sympathisers, and the wider public to take part in the tour’s activities in their respective regions and constituencies.
The Party believes this gesture of gratitude and togetherness will reinvigorate its support base and set the tone for future political endeavours.
The leadership further emphasised that unity, appreciation, and faith must remain at the heart of the Party’s forward march.
