Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai MP Alfred Obeng Boateng
The office of the Member of Parliament for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, Mr Alfred Obeng Boateng, in the Ashanti Region has been vandalised.
The thugs ransacked the office and made away with three mobile phones, some cash and laptops.
An aide to the NPP lawmaker, Mr Kwame Bekoe, was brutalised and stabbed during the raid.
He is on treatment at the Bibiani Government Hospital.
The NPP’s constituency executives have lodged a complaint with the Bibiani police command.
The break-in occurred as some persons, in the company of a bailiff from the Sefwi Wiawso High Court, went to the MP’s office to serve one of his aides, Mr Solomon Boamah, with a committal writ for contempt.
