BNI officials stripped me naked – Former CPP Gen. Secretary recounts
Nana Yaa Jantuah, the former Public Relations and External Affairs Director of the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) and one-time General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party(CPP), has revealed shocking details about her treatment during her arrest and detention by the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI), now known as the National Intelligence Bureau(NIB).
Ms Jantuah claims she was subjected to humiliating treatment, including being stripped naked, during the ordeal.
This incident occurred on May 12, 2017, when she and Mr Samuel Sarpong, the Executive Secretary of the PURC, were summoned by the BNI for questioning.
Her revelation highlights the severe and degrading conditions she experienced while in custody, raising serious concerns about the treatment of individuals under investigation by national security agencies
