#2024Polls: CACG congratulates president-elect Mahama

After Ghana's 2024 polls and the Electoral Commission (EC) declaration of results, the Crusaders Against Corruption, Ghana (CACG) has congratulated President-elect John Dramani Mahama.

In a statement dated, Tuesday, December 10, signed by Bishop Dr Suzanne Nti (Chairperson), commended Mr Mahama's "commitment to public service and the principles of democracy".

"CACG, under the dynamic leadership of our Chief Crusader and Spokesperson, Emmanuel Wilson Jr., is proud to work alongside our esteemed CACG Board, which includes Chairperson Bishop Dr. Suzanne Nti and distinguished members such as Nana (Dr.) Kobina Nketsia V and Gen. Nunoo Mensah (rtd.)., Bishop Dr. Samuel Mensah, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, Mr. Daniel Domelevo, Chief Crusader Mr. Emmanuel Wilson Jr., Madam Rodaline Imoro Ayarna, Dr. Ekwow SpioGarbrah, Prof. PLO. Lumumba, and Executive Secretary Mr. Theophilus Eweh.

"CACG and its large membership across Ghana, unites with NDC in recognizing this pivotal moment in our nation’s history," the statement continued.

"As we transition to a new administration, CACG reflects on the shared journey over the past eight years in exposing, fighting and combating corruption in all forms.

"Our organization remains dedicated to rebuilding trust in Ghana’s leadership and reinforcing the values of accountability and integrity."

"Your Excellency, we express our eagerness for a collaborative relationship moving forward," CACG noted.

"We are committed to ensuring that anti-corruption remains a national priority, fostering good governance and transparency. We invite you to engage with our organization as we work together toward a more just and trustworthy governance structure.

"As we strive to restore trust among citizens and in our institutions, CACG is keen to discuss immediate initiatives to promote integrity and transparency within the government.
