Ahwesohene of Kraboa Coaltar urges Ghanaian youth to embrace humility, honesty
Nii Laryea Otiajaasu I, Ahwesohene of Kraboa Coaltar in the Eastern Region, has called on Ghanaian youth to adopt the values of humility and honesty in their daily lives.
The Ahwesohene emphasised that these virtues are key to personal and professional success.
Speaking during his enstoolment ceremony at Kraboa Coaltar, Nii Otiajaasu I shared how humility and integrity had played a significant role in his own journey.
He was recently enstooled as Chief of Defence for the Nsawam Coaltar Traditional Area, his third chieftaincy title within a year.
"Humility and honesty are what push people to the top," Nii Otiajaasu I said.
"This year alone, I’ve been given three chieftaincy titles. First, I was made Development Chief in the Dedeman Traditional Area, then promoted to a position next to the Paramount Chief, and now, I’ve been enstooled here in the Eastern Region as a Chief of Defence. Everyone should learn to be humble, live by the truth, and everything you seek will come to you."
In addition to his call for moral values, Nii Otiajaasu I also urged Ghanaians to be thoughtful in their choices during the upcoming December 7 elections.
"We’re the ones who choose our leaders," he said. "Look within your hearts, assess the situation, and elect someone who can move Ghana’s development forward, so we can all live comfortably."
The enstoolment ceremony was marked by celebration, with traditional rites performed to honour Nii Otiajaasu I's new role in the community.
