Truck with Police stickers in Nkonsa accident not a Police vehicle – Ghana Police
The Ghana Police Service has clarified that a truck involved in an accident at Nkonsa in the Ashanti Region, which was captured in a viral video with Police stickers pasted on it, does not belong to the Service.
In a Facebook post, the Police stated: “The said truck does not belong to the Ghana Police Service, contrary to claims being circulated on social media and other media platforms.”
Preliminary investigations by the Police revealed that the truck is owned by the “Road Safety Management Services Ltd.”, not the Ghana Police Service as speculated online.
The Police have since launched a thorough investigation into the incident to uncover further details surrounding the accident.
