Otumfuo to deliver address at Citibank event in London tomorrow
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene is expected to deliver the keynote address at the inaugural Black Heritage Network Symposium, tomorrow 2 August in the UK.
The event is hosted by Citibank UK, in collaboration with Citi London’s Black Heritage Network and the Asante Professionals Club UK.
The symposium on the theme: Celebrating Asante Legacy, Excellence and Partnership, forms part of activities for Otumfuo’s silver jubilee anniversary and will take place at the Citigroup UK Head office in Canary Wharf, London.
The address, titled; The Asante Kingdom: Historical Legacy and its Impact on Modern Economic Development”, will highlight the rich history of the Asante Kingdom and explore how its legacy continues to influence contemporary economic strategies and partnerships.
The event strictly by invitation aims to celebrate the profound heritage and achievements of the Asante Kingdom while fostering discussions on future collaborations and economic growth.
The Asantehene will remain in the UK after his address and celebrate Akwasidae there on Sunday, 4 August.
