Former Ejisu Juaben MCE Yamoah Ponko dead
Mr Afrifa Yamoah Ponko, a former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) under the John Mahama administration in the Ashanti Region, has sadly passed away.
According to family sources, Mr Yamoah Ponko died on Sunday, October 6, 2024, after battling a prolonged illness.
Mr Yamoah Ponko was widely known for his role as MCE of Ejisu Juaben during the Mahama government.
His death marks the end of a notable political career.
Details regarding funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by the family in due course.
