Tragedy struck when a bus carrying students from Ben Kunadu SDA Basic School in the Asante Akyem Municipality of the Ashanti Region was involved in a fatal accident at Aseseeso, between Adukrom and Somanya.

The bus, registered as GV 83-22 and belonging to Collins Senior High School in Asante Agogo, reportedly lost control while descending the Aseseeso hill, causing it to somersault multiple times before landing on its side.
