The Member of Parliament for Kumawu, Ernest Yaw Anim, has initiated a donation drive of exercise books to schools across his constituency.
According to the lawmaker, this initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on parents who struggle to afford these essential educational materials for their children.
The aim is to empowering constituents, especially students in Basic Schools (Primary and Junior High Schools), to excel academically under his leadership.
According to Mr Anim, the distribution of exercise books is intended to cultivate a culture of academic excellence and provide motivation for students to achieve their academic potential.
He hopes to create an environment that supports learning and encourages academic success by ensuring students have necessary resources like exercise books.
This initiative is part of his broader commitment to invest in education and nurture the next generation of leaders who will contribute significantly to the development of their communities.
He has also extended his support by donating football jerseys to all 98 primary and junior high schools across the constituency. This initiative aims to aid schools in their interschool competitions and promote sports among students.
