GA/R: 120 members matriculated into Madina Job Center

Mrs Priscilla Naa Aklerh Okantey, CEO of the Madina Job Centre, Madina, Accra, has stated since its launch, the centre has successfully completed 15 projects, positively impacting over 7,000 individuals across the country.
She spoke during a media briefing, underlining the centre had been in operation since November 24, 2019.
She explained the vocational training modules at the centre were specifically designed to equip young people with practical, hands-on skills that were in high demand in today’s job market, emphasising participants would receive quality education that will prepare them to excel in their chosen fields within periods of six months, one year, or two years.
Further elaborating, Mrs Okantey highlighted the training went beyond technical skills – often referred to as ‘ensano adwuma (handiworks)’ in Akan – by incorporating entrepreneurial and soft skills development programmes, including business management, marketing, personal branding, and the use of AI tools for daily activities.
The Madina Job Centre’s matriculation ceremony on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, highlighted training in areas such as fashion design, glass fabrication, carpentry, and hairdressing, among others.
Mrs Okantey urged the new matriculants to embrace these modules, invest in their future, and remain committed to their personal and professional growth as they embarked on their unique journey toward success.
