Kwaku Ohene Gyan: Former NSS Deputy Director picked up by NIB

The National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) has apprehended Kwaku Ohene Gyan (Osonoba), a former Deputy Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS), for his alleged involvement in the ghost names and payroll fraud scandal.
Recently, the Finance Ministry reported discovering at least 80,000 ghost names on the payroll of the scheme, while settling payment arrears.
Mr Ohene Gyan's arrest on Saturday, February 22, 2025, according to 3News, marks the beginning of a broader crackdown, and signals his accomplices being picked up in the coming days.
